Following the resignation of Union Township Trustee Michael Foland on July 6, 2026, Howard County Clerk Debbie Stewart has formally notified Howard County Republican Party Chairman Jordan Buckley of the resulting vacancy. Under Indiana Code 3-13-11-5, the Howard County Republican Chairman is responsible for selecting an individual to fill the vacant office.
Interested persons shall file their Declaration of Candidacy (CEB-5 & CAN-12) with party Chairman, Jordan Buckley, no later than July 23rd, 2026 at 5:00 PM.
