The Howard County Republican Party congratulates Adam Shaffer on his appointment to the Harrison Township Advisory Board this evening.
Adam Shaffer is a lifelong Kokomo resident and graduate of Kokomo Christian School. He attended Purdue University, studying Organizational Leadership and Organization. A second-generation firefighter, Adam has served the Kokomo Fire Department for more than 23 years and has also worked as an EMT with Community Howard Regional Health EMS for over 16 years.
In addition to his public safety career, Adam has been actively involved in labor leadership, serving his local union as both a union steward and Vice President, gaining valuable experience in teamwork, accountability, and advocacy.
“Adam has dedicated his life to serving others, and his experience in public safety, labor leadership, and community involvement makes him an excellent choice for Harrison Township,” said Jordan Buckley, Chairman of the Howard County Republican Party. “We are confident he will serve the residents of Harrison Township with integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to public service.”
Adam is the proud father of two sons, Hayden (17) and Landen (16), and enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
Adam looks forward to serving the residents of Harrison Township and bringing decades of leadership, service, and dedication to the community he calls home.
