Howard County Clerk Debbie Stewart has formally notified Party Chairman Jordan Buckley of a vacancy on the Howard Township Trustee & Advisory Board following the resignation notice of Rochelle Tryling on February 24th, 2026 and David Grant on February 27th, 2026 . In accordance with Indiana Code 3-13-11, the Howard County Republican Party will convene a caucus to select their replacements.
The caucus of eligible Howard County Republican Committee Members, as defined under I.C. 3-13-11-5, will be held on Monday, March 16th, at 4:30 PM. Per party rules, those members who are eligible to vote will be notified via US Mail with further instructions. This is not a notice to appear for the caucus.
Interested persons shall file their Declaration of Candidacy (CEB-5 & CAN-12) with party Chairman, Jordan Buckley, no later than 72 hours prior to the caucus.
